FAQ

Is this an official MLS feed?

Yes. Data is served under a VOW license from the Austin Board of REALTORS (ABOR). Active listings only on the free tier, with compliance rules built in.

Is my search history private?

When you sign up, we create a contact for you in our CRM so Ed can help if you want him to. Your searches are logged to your contact record — Ed can see them and follow up. We never sell or share your data. If you'd rather not have any follow-up, email Ed and he'll remove you.

Does this work in the Claude.ai web app?

Yes. The install steps are identical: Settings → Connectors → Add Custom Connector. Custom connectors require Claude Pro or Max.

Does this work in Claude Code?

Yes. Claude Code supports remote MCP servers via claude mcp add. Use the same URL.

Why do I have to give my name and email?

Two reasons. One, compliance — VOW licenses require user identification. Two, if you're searching Austin real estate, there's a decent chance you might want an agent eventually, and Ed would rather be that agent than a stranger.

What happens when I hit the free tier limit?

The tool tells you politely and suggests upgrading. Nothing breaks. The limit resets hourly / monthly.

Can I use this outside Austin?

Not yet. Data is Austin-area (ACTRIS MLS). If you want your market covered, email Ed — if there's demand we'll expand.

Is there a one-click install?

Not yet for remote MCP servers. Anthropic's one-click install (.mcpb) is local-only today. The 5-step install above is as fast as it gets.
